Rhodia announces price increase

Effective September 1st or as contracts allow, Rhodia Silicones will implement a 10 to 15 per cent price increase for all of its Silcolease release coatings products containing platinum metal. Despite all efforts to optimize productivity achieved by Rhodia’s continuous improvement program over the last few years, rapidly and regularly rising raw materials, especially platinum (>100% in 5 years), make this decision inevitable.

This close cooperation will allow Rhodia’s customers to minimize price increases by controlling cost and even enhance the performance of their products.
