Sani-Blast promotes 2008 Economic Stimulus Package

Sani-Blast of Spring Grove, Minnesota, will guarantee 2008 delivery of equipment orders placed by November 1 to allow printers to take advantage of the potential tax benefits of the 2008 Economic Stimulus Package.

For 2008, the limit for expensed equipment has increased from $128,000 to $250,000. The plan offers two deductions for equipment bought and placed in service in 2008. The first deduction allows a 50 percent write off in 2008 of the purchase price. Plus, it is possible to write off the normal first year depreciation of the remaining 50 percent of the purchase price.

The system uses sodium bicarbonate and is an efficient and environmentally safe cleaning process. A spokesperson said, ‘Sani-Blast anilox roll cleaning systems can prolong the life of anilox rolls by returning them to clean as new without the major cost to re-engrave.’
