ScanSource Europe partners with Janam

ScanSource Europe has partnered with Janam Technologies LLC, a provider of rugged mobile computers that scan barcodes, to deliver the XP Series, a fully featured industrial Palm OS-based product line.

With the addition of Janam Technologies to its line card, ScanSource Europe’s reseller customers now have access to a feature-filled mobile computer that scans barcodes, runs the latest version of the Palm OS platform and meets the EU’s Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive. Palm OS enables users to customize their Palm-powered smart devices to meet their specific mission-critical application needs for retail, healthcare, hospitality, logistics and manufacturing environments.

‘The XP Series extends the reach and capability of mobile Palm applications,’ said Vincent Decoster, merchandising director, ScanSource Europe. ‘Our customers can expand their mobile technology offering with these rugged handheld devices armed with Palm’s productivity enhancing software.’
