Seagull’s SAP certification status raised

Seagull Scientific’s BarTender label software version 8.01 (Service Release 3) has achieved ‘SAP Certified Integration’ status for some recently-added integration capabilities. The new certification includes:

• Certified for SAP’s AII (‘Auto ID Infrastructure’) interface
• Certified for SAP NetWeaver

Seagull says that it was the first label software company to become an SAP Software Partner (awarded in 2000). Seagull has for years also claimed to be the only label software company with an SAP-certified direct interface to SAP IDocs. BarTender also supports the export of printer code templates needed for SAPscript-ITF integrations.
