Shore to Shore establishes production in Chittagong

Shore To Shore has set up a production facility in Chittagong, Bangladesh, in order to meet customer demands. The new site has approximately 60,000 square feet of space and is large enough to accommodate 300 employees. The expansion is part of Shore To Shore’s commitment to establish a reliable, city-based production and sales network in Bangladesh. The Chittagong manufacturing facility is located near the main port in Bangladesh. It provides local order entry, production of printed products, woven labels (broadloom and needleloom), product development, and customer service.

Chittagong’s managing director, Kaisar Ahmed states, “Globalization is yesterday’s news and the era of regionalization has begun. We have determined that Chittagong is a good place for us to be located. So,we built a modern, hi-tech plant with sound social accountability principles to meet the needs of our apparel and retail clients. Shore To Shore Chittagong has an experienced team that is committed to maintaining excellent customer service. Clients will be offered STS’s full range of brand packaging solutions including packaging, offset printed products, thermal print, printed fabric labels, broadloom and needleloom woven labels, and silk-screen printing. The corporate W.O.R.L.D. (Worldwide Order Routing Logistics and Distribution) system enables customers to place orders at a single point with the benefit of sourcing from any of STS’s global manufacturing facilities.
