Siegwerk announces price increase

Siegwerk has announced price increases of 3.5 per cent for all packaging inks and coatings sold throughout the NAFTA region effective January 1, 2007.   

This increase comes in response to the continuing raw material increases experienced by those involved in all aspects of the ink industry including resins, solvents, pigments, additives, and other related key ingredients. Siegwerk has worked diligently to consolidate its manufacturing processes, transportation lanes, and product lines, as well as reduce its operating expenses; however, raw material increases continue to out pace Siegwerk’s ability to mitigate the effects on its customers. Further notification will follow to customers on an individual basis.
