SOMA announces open house schedule for 2006

SOMA Engineering has announced a series of back-to-back flexible packaging open houses scheduled to take place at its Lanskroun facility in the Czech Republic throughout 2006.

SOMA Open House events are planned to commence from March through to June and later in the autumn of 2006 where the company’s range of machines will be demonstrated in turnkey production cycles. Interested flexible packaging printers are invited to run trials with their own materials in order to test new projects and applications and in this case, open house black out dates will apply.

During March, April and May 2006, the company will feature the Flexmont 850 S mounter/proofer, a SOMAFlex MIDI CI flexo press and a Lamiflex 1350 SL laminating line complimented by the Pluto 1100 and Venus II 1350 slitter/rewinders

On certain dates, the company also anticipates featuring UV flexo technology for CI presses on a 850mm (33.5”) wide Flex MINI CI press designed to print UV curing inks.
