Special die pricing offers from Gerhardt USA
For a limited period Gerhardt USA will be offering its magnetic cylinders at just 50 per cent of their standard price to all American customers. It is also promising to beat any like-for-like quote on the flexible dies that run on magnetic cylinders. Although the promotion is tied to Labelexpo Americas, the special pricing is already available to American customers.
According to Gerhardt USA CEO Bill Reichard: ‘Many label convetrers have long considered making the switch from solid dies over to flexibles but in the past the high cost of magnetic cylinders has deterred them.’
Gerhardt USA is not only reducing prices, it is also offering an audit service to US customers to see just how much money they could be saving. As Dan Schaffer, USA sales director explained: ‘We’ll look at what dies they buy, for what repeats and suggest the best value magnetic cylinders to invest it. The results are compelling. I’ve never done an audit where the customer hasn’t decided that he just has to go flexible as a result.’
Gerhardt USA estimates that on average, the lower cost of flexible dies has paid for the magnetic cylinder by just the third job a customer runs on it. Bill Reichard has a challenge for American label printers: ‘If you still use solid dies, come see us at the Labelexpo show in Chicago and I promise that we can save you money.'
