Stanford expands presence in Latin America

Continuing its focus on the Latin American marketplace, Stanford Products LLC, has established five new sales agencies in Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina and Uruguay, Peru and Brazil.
In addition to the new agencies, Stanford also announced it plans to exhibit at the upcoming Latin America Label Summit in Sao Paulo, Brazil in May. Stanford says that its growth in the Latin American marketplace is being spurred on by the success of its recently-released line of finishing equipment for the shrink sleeve market. The Seammachine Model SM-10 will produce sleeves from 25mm (1”) to 254mm (10”) at speeds reaching 500 mpm (1650 fpm). The Doctor Machine Inspector Model DM-10 incorporates Stanford’s patent-pending oscillation technology and can run at speeds up to 300 mpm (1000 fpm) and the Stanford Model 738 Slitter Rewinder is a cantilevered duplex differential center winder offering converters an easy to operate, compact solution. With standard web-widths from 762mm (30”) to 1270mm (50”), rewind roll diameters from 610mm (24”) to 800mm (32”) and unwind roll capabilities to 900 Kg (2000 lbs), the Model 738 has the capability to run a wide range of materials.
