Stora Enso goes ‘over the rainbow’ for Judy Garland commemorative stamp

Stora Enso, the world’s largest paper and board manufacturer, is helping the US Postal Service (USPS) celebrate one of the 20th century’s greatest entertainers.

Stora Enso Global Speciality Papers’Enso’s Stevens Point Mill supplied 55 lb. OptiLabel Stamp paper for the USPS 75-million-stamp issue for singer-actress Judy Garland. Garland is featured as the 12th honoree in the USPS ‘Legends of Hollywood’ stamp series. Garland’s stamp image is based on a publicity photo from her Academy Award-nominated performance in A Star is Born.  On the side of the stamp sheet, she is depicted as Dorothy in the film classic The Wizard of Oz.

The Judy Garland stamps are now available in books or sheets of 20 at local post offices, select mailing substations and on the USPS Web site at http://www.usps.com/.
