The Stork Prints Group has announced a management buyout of its dispensing activities. The sale is in line with the group’s strategy of strengthening the focus in its activities. This move will have no effect on employment levels.

The new company, GSE B.V., is taking over all existing Stork Prints sales, maintenance and work in progress agreements as well as all staff directly involved in the dispensing activities.  Stork Prints will act as agent for the GSE B.V. dispensing products in the textile printing market, making use of its global distribution network.

Mr Anne Lourens, Mr Henk Hummelink and Mr Maarten Hummelen, involved with the business since its inception with Stork Prints, are sharing ownership of the new company and are determined that existing customers should experience no interruption to service or product supply.

Management changes within the existing team will see Anne Lourens assume the role of managing director. Maarten Hummelen moves to become marketing director and Henk Hummelink has been appointed as finance director.

Anne Lourens commented: ‘We have enjoyed many years of success with Stork and we are really looking forward to continuing this as an independent company. We are very committed to furthering the growth of this business and plan to expand and develop the existing range of products and services. Recently introduced products are now establishing themselves in all our major markets, providing GSE with a strong base for the future.’

Dick Joustra, managing director of the Stork Prints Group added: ‘Stork Prints is accelerating its very focused move towards expansion of its leading position as consumable and related equipment supplier in the textile and graphics printing markets. As part of this strategy, we are exiting some areas of the business that fall outside of this focus. I know that GSE will continue to provide an excellent service to all its customers.’

The conditions of the deal will not be disclosed.
