Amcor Flexibles increases flexible packaging prices

Amcor Flexibles Europe & Americas (AFEA) has increased prices for most flexible packaging effective September 15.
The increases are above those already communicated and are in response to the recent and dramatic rise in raw material costs, said the company.
‘This increase is necessary due to steep raw material cost increases, particularly polyester-containing products,’ said Javier Rojo, vice president of sales and marketing and global pharma. ‘In line with our dedication to minimizing cost, we will continue to take aggressive measures to keep costs under control and work to identify ways of serving our customers in the most efficient ways possible.’
