Channeled Resources Group earns Ecovadis Bronze certification

This recognition acknowledges CRG’s commitment to environmental sustainability, ethical labor practices, human rights, and sustainable procurement

Channeled Resources Group (CRG), manufacturer of release liners, blank shipping labels, and pressure-sensitive roll label stock, has been awarded the Ecovadis bronze certification. This recognition acknowledges CRG’s commitment to environmental sustainability, ethical labor practices, human rights, and sustainable procurement.

CRG president Cindy White said: ‘Ecovadis looks at the human element, emphasizing diversity and robust people-focused processes. This really fits our culture since taking care of our people is so important to CRG.’

An internal team spearheaded the certification process earlier this year. According to Derek Koehler, technical services manager at CRG and leader of this team: ‘Many of the aspects Ecovadis evaluated were already part of CRG’s operations. Our emphasis was on documenting our existing practices comprehensively for the audit. We started with simpler tasks and gradually progressed to larger projects requiring new policies.’

Ecovadis is one of the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, intelligence, and collaborative performance improvement tools for global supply chains. CRG’s bronze certification places it among the top 50 percentile of companies assessed within the paper and paper products industry, considering its employee count of 100 - 199.

In addition to securing the Ecovadis bronze certification, Channeled Resources Group holds an ISO 9001 certification and proudly operates as a Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) certified woman-owned business.
