Fedrigoni introduces exclusive black paper range

The new range expands the Fedrigoni collection of premium wine and spirits labeling materials.

Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives North America (FSA), part of The Fedrigoni Group, has expanded its collection of premium wine and spirits labeling materials with the introduction of an exclusive black paper range.

The range now offers three distinct black materials: Tintoretto Black Pepper, Cotone Nero, and the Black Tuxedo and Black Tie Neck Label.

The Tintoretto Black Pepper features a distinct felt-marked texture on both sides, ensuring a uniform, pulp-dyed finish without white edges.

Cotone Nero, crafted from 100% cotton pulp dye, offers a rich black color and a tree-free alternative fiber option for brands. With the feel of cotton and a light texture throughout, Cotone Nero provides a deeper black hue compared to Black Pepper and is the thickest choice among the black stocks. It is ideal for embossed designs as this ultra-premium facestock gives more definition when embossed than other facestocks.

The Black Tuxedo is the newest addition to the black range and the darkest black of the line with a smooth, uncoated finish. Free of carbon additives, it is an ideal choice for designs utilizing cold foil applications. Its companion neck label, Black Tie, also ensures a seamless application, overcoming the 'memory effect' that often plagues smaller circumference surfaces. Both the Black Tuxedo and Black Tie materials are available with FSC certification.

'We're thrilled to introduce our black paper range to the North American market,' said Melissa Harton, marketing manager North America. 'With these premium materials, we aim to offer brands an opportunity to create labels that not only stand out but also embody elegance and quality, elevating their products in the eyes of consumers.'
