Gascogne Laminates reports successful Labelexpo participation

Gascogne Laminates Switzerland has reported successful participation in Labelexpo Europe 2009, with its stand in hall 6 receiving record attendance.
‘The efforts over the past four years are bearing fruit and we were happy to share it with our customers,’ said Thierry Vansintjan, adhesive product line manager. ‘Our Swiss Nature range, which includes face and backing papers from sustainable managed forests (FSC and PEFC) and a recyclable PP liner, was particularly well received.’
‘Our recyclable PP30 liner is very popular with our customers in France, Germany and Benelux, as it solves the problem of eliminating the siliconized glassine and thus provides an innovative solution to the entire industry label,’ said Jacques Kieffer, sales manager for France and Switzerland.
Philippe Castets, managing director, said: ‘Our participation at the show has allowed us to measure the distance traveled. We have indeed met many challenges, including that of restoring the financial health of the Martigny site. We have been working on the standardization of our product range and development of a competitive service offering. We have also implemented an ambitious investment program in order to improve our productivity and especially to offer our customers more technical solutions. Finally, to reinforce our presence on the European market, we are working on expanding our product range and strengthening our geographic coverage through the implementation of marketing and business alliances with European partners.’
