Mactac Printing Products has received Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody (CoC) certification for its Columbus, Stow, Ohio, and Scranton facilities.

‘FSC CoC certification allows Mactac to strengthen its sourcing policies and comply with procurement policies where FSC is the preferred option,’ said Allie Braham, marketing manager, Mactac Roll Label Products. ‘We are constantly seeking ways to enhance our product offering. With FSC CoC certification, our customers can now make socially and environmentally responsible purchasing decisions because we know the origin of raw materials used in our FSC certified products.’

Mactac Printing Products recognized under FSC CoC certification include:

  • AC9002FSC - 60# semi-gloss with 710 permanent
  • TT1702FSC - OPTISCAN 2C with 710 permanent
  • PCW1810 – 100 percent PCW uncoated with MP910 permanent
  • PCW9500 – 100 percent PCW uncoated with ST95 permanent

FSC CoC allows credible tracking of FSC material from the forest, through all successive stages of the production process, to committed retailers and consumers. CoC certification requires operations to identify the origin of raw materials used in FSC certified products and to keep FSC certified products separate from other products throughout the production process.
