Neenah Paper’s Techni-Print 4.0 heat transfer paper has received Indigo certification through the Rochester Institute of Technology’s HP Indigo Certification program for specialty media. The program enables manufacturers for specialty media to evaluate substrate compatibility with HP Indigo Digital Offset Color presses. Techni-Print 4.0 received certification on the Indigo 5000 and 5500 series with three stars (the highest mark) on runability and blanket compatibility and two stars on fixing to the 400 percent area.

’We are pleased that Techni-Print 4.0, another in our series of heat transfer papers, is certified for Indigo use,’ explained Gerry Rector, associate marketing director for Neenah Paper. ‘It will allow those using the Indigo process for printing their large volume heat transfers to achieve outstanding print quality, even when transferring to difficult substrates such as leather.’

Set-up information on using Techni-Print 4.0 is available for Indigo users on the Indigo website.

In addition to Techni-Print 4.0, Neenah Paper’s Photo-Trans SC and DuraTrans heat transfer papers are also HP Indigo certified.
