Neenah Paper announces technical products price increase

Neenah Paper, a global producer of technical products, has announced a price increase for all technical products produced by Neenah Paper in the United States. This includes papers used for heat transfer, coated abrasives, decorative components, cleanroom and labels, among others. The price increase is scheduled to become effective on September 1, 2008.

‘Neenah Paper is increasing its prices in response to the continuing rise in the costs of raw materials, specifically the unprecedented increases in latex,’ said Dennis Runsten, president of Neenah Paper Technical Products, US. ‘The suppliers of our petrochemicals have been forced to implement a series of rapid and significant price increases that limit our ability to mitigate them.’
