Technicote ‘saves over 30,000 trees in 2008’

Pressure sensitive supplier Technicote claims to have saved over 30,000 trees in 2008 thanks to offering a selection of products that contain a percentage of post consumer waste, as well as careful management of its internal processes.

The company says it avoided 5,340 yards of landfill and 106,807 air pollutants, while saving 12,461,210 gallons of water and 7,298,710 kilowatts of electricity.

In addition to providing post consumer waste products, Technicote also offers EarthFirst PLA, made from renewable resources and RCA 220 adhesive, which is an environmentally benign adhesive that is compatible with the paper recycling process.
