UPM Raflatac celebrates its 15th year of operations in Russia

UPM Raflatac celebrates its 15 years of operations in Russia with its presence at LabelShow.
UPM Raflatac has operated in the core of developing the Russian labeling industry, from the beginning of the 1990s when self-adhesive materials first appeared in the Russian label market.
The company has recently set up a local organization that is now able to provide direct sales, faster service and local invoicing to all customers in Russia.
UPM Raflatac will also announce its new factory in Wroclaw, Poland. The near location of the new production facilities also contributes to fast delivery of self-adhesive material to Russia. Production of a wide range of labelstocks at the new Poland factory is due to start operations in the final quarter of 2008. As a production and logistics center, the factory will serve the growing eastern European market and meet increasing demand for filmic label materials Europe-wide.
At the LabelShow, UPM Raflatac will showcase its wide range of paper and film labelstock products. At the forefront are the updated mid-gloss paper, Raflacoat Plus, and RH 9, the hotmelt adhesive optimized for majority of cold and chilled food applications. Both RH 9 and Raflacoat Plus are available in a wide range of labelstock combinations.
UPM Raflatac also presents Raflex Plus, a thin and clear, topcoated film combining the best properties of PE and PP, offering good flexibility on squeezable substrates. Raflex Plus is aimed at personal care applications.
