Konica Minolta scoops second Green Hero Award

Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) has won the Green Hero Award for a second time in recognition of its ‘MPS Green Audit Process’, helping to reduce its customers’ environmental impact.
The award was presented to Claire Ham, Konica Minolta’s quality and environment manager by Trevor Baylis OBE, inventor of the wind-up radio.
The Green Audit Process enables the calculation of the amount of energy, paper and consumables used in the printing process, and works out the Co2 emissions generated. With award-winning environmental credentials, Konica Minolta is then able to develop a plan to empower businesses to reduce their environmental impact, while streamlining their business and document workflows.
The Green Hero Awards are organized by The Green Organisation, an independent environmental group which has been promoting the positive effects of environmental activities since 1994. The aim of the Green Hero Awards is to recognize, reward and promote environmental best-practice.
Neil Dingley, managing director, Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK), commented: ‘We are delighted to have won this prestigious international award in recognition of our pioneering MPS Green Audit Process, as part of our full MPS offering. For many businesses, reducing their carbon footprint also a key priority, our end to end MPS portfolio addresses this need.’
