NBC Chicago names Distant Village as a ‘Top Eco-preneur’

US label converter Distant Village has been named as one of Chicago's Top 14 ‘Eco-preneurs’ by NBC Chicago.
The company, a manufacturer of sustainable gift packaging and adhesive labels, recently launched Pure Label, a pressure-sensitive adhesive label made from wild grass and hemp paper.
Rich Cohen, founder of Distant Village, said: ‘Pure Label is one good example of why Distant Village was recognized by NBC Chicago as a top eco company. Pure Label is a global category leader in sustainable packaging. It is 100 percent recycle compatible, natural, and fair trade.’
The company says recognition as a leading ‘Eco-preneur’ comes due to its commitment to ‘triple bottom line’ sustainable business practices.
