Tabletops sell out at FTA’s ‘Color in Focus’ conference

The US Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) has announced the tabletop exhibition for its upcoming Fall Conference ‘Color in Focus’ has sold out.
The event will take place at the Marriott Union Station in St Louis, October 10-12, with 31 exhibitors having secured space.
‘It’s great to have another sold out event under our belt,’ commented Jay Kaible, FTA’s director of business development. ‘As with Info*Flex, suppliers know the value that an FTA event brings to their bottom line. Each event gets bigger and better and FTA’s “Color in Focus” Fall Conference is no different.’
The conference, chaired by Dan Collins of Berry Plastics Corporation and Mark Mazur of DuPont Packaging Graphics is expected to draw more than 200 attendees. It offers an eight‐session agenda including presentations by color experts on basic color theory, beyond 4‐color, optimizing flexo color profiles, and bringing it all together: measurements, standards and FIRST; and tips for Adobe Creative Suite.
Supplementing the color‐centric discussions are two other relevant elements of FTA’s 2011 Fall Conference program: delivering customer value and a FQC working session.
FTA is offering a discounted rate for attendees who register before September 30 and converters and design firms are entitled to specially reduced rates of 325 dollars (FTA members) and 425 dollars (non‐members).
