Tailored Solutions joins CIP4 consortium

Tailored Solutions, developer of the Label Traxx print business management software for flexographic narrow web label printers and converters, has joined the CIP4 consortium, the organization which coordinates the implementation of JDF and JMF software protocols in the printing industry. 

Commenting on the new affiliation, Tailored Solutions president Ken Meinhardt said: ‘The JDF and JMF software protocols developed by the CIP4 consortium are fast becoming the communication standards for the entire printing industry. The protocols initially found application in the offset area, and we are pleased to spearhead efforts to bring these operating efficiencies to label printers and converters in the flexographic market. Our efforts will enable flexographic manufacturers to establish two-way communications between Label Traxx and popular prepress equipment.’
