Technicote mourns the passing of founder Dirk Desanzo

In a statement to the business community posted on the company website, Technicote president Anthony Vinciguerra noted the following:

‘Technicote patriarch Dirk Desanzo passed away on April 26, 2006 after a very brief illness. With this sad event, Technicote has lost its father, its founder and best friend.

‘The pressure sensitive and adhesives coating industry that he loved and helped build has also lost a premier visionary.

‘Dirk left an indelible mark on his many business ventures and the industries they served. He provided a livelihood to many people that are in every way a tribute to his vision and his entrepreneurial nature which are among the many gifts he bestowed to others over the course of his life.

‘Dirk was a proud man and took pride in the business and personal relationships that reflected his principles of originality, concern for people and a fundamental belief that one receives from any endeavor what they put into it.

‘We who knew Dirk believe that he would want us to continue to live his vision and to carry it forward to greater success on his behalf and that is what we will do in tribute to him.

‘We offer our profound condolences to his family.’
