tesa opens training center in Michigan
tesa tape, Inc. has announced the official opening of a new facility intended as a training site for employees and customers. This new venue – the tesa Knowledge Center – is an addition to the company’s many training facilities around the world. The new tesa Knowledge Center is located in Sparta, Michigan, at the company’s North American manufacturing facility. All training programs offered at the center will encompass three components: practical tape application demonstrations and training; analytical and physical testing of tapes, and an overview of the tape manufacturing process.
Customers and employees can choose among ten course topics, each centered on the appropriate tesa product line for the given application. Modules can be tailor-made and bundled to fit every changing market requirements. tesa North America’s President, Daniel Germain, commented: “The tesa Knowledge Center is yet another example of the company’s commitment to knowledge sharing across both internal and external clients. Our learning teams strive to become credible partners, helping customers solve problems. It is our goal to have our customers think of tesa first in their supplier selection process.” tesa Knowledge Center personnel will host their first class at the new facility in mid-August, followed by several sessions throughout the remainder of the year. tesa has its regional North American headquarters in Charlotte, NC.
