Lori Campbell, chief of operations at US converter The Label Printers, will be a featured speaker for AWA’s Label Release Liner Industry Seminar in Chicago on September 13.

Campbell will address the converter’s perspective on release liner, including how it impacts converters and their customers. Her 25 years of experience in the label converting business, coupled with her current responsibilities for sales, purchasing and manufacturing operations gives Campbell the experience and perspective to address this topic from multiple perspectives, say the event’s organizers.

‘The Label Printers has added release liner waste to our list of issues to be addressed by our LIFE program (the TLMI’s Label Initiative For the Environment),’ said Campbell. ‘Industry people such as Calvin Frost of Channeled Resources have, for years, been encouraging label converters and their customers to consider the environmental impact of release liner waste. Between the industry’s passionate advocates for waste reduction, like Calvin, programs like TLMI’s LIFE, and industry seminars such as this one, the topic of waste is gaining traction at the converter level.’

The Label Printers is a custom label and packaging manufacturer, serving industries such as wine, pharmaceutical and electrical.
