Troika Systems Limited, a UK-based developer of print-based quality control products, has reported high levels of interest and orders taken on its stand at the recent drupa event.

The latest Troika Systems line-up spanned a wide range of printing disciplines, including gravure, intaglio, flexography, and lithography.

Troika Systems’ Graham Manders said that visitors showed particular interest in the company’s flexographic quality control tools. ‘We saw a significant growth in interest in quality control from the flexo sector, with printers looking to differentiate themselves from their competition, and focusing more and more on consistent product quality,’ he said. ‘The FlexoCam and AniCam were seen as the main benchmark tools, but companies also understood our strategy in making the Plate-II-Print product available for use on the shopfloor, allowing them to maintain one single standard of quality control throughout the organization.’ Orders were taken on the stand for flexographic-based products for Europe, Asia, North and South America.

Drawing numbers from a summary of leads taken at the show, the most significant interest in Troika products came from: Germany, France, India, Russia, Poland, Brazil, China, and UK. ‘This was undoubtedly the busiest show yet for Troika Systems, and we were delighted with the results,’ added Manders. The company is now busy fulfilling orders taken during the show and just after the event.

Graham Manders added that significant interest was also shown in the company’s newly released GravureCam product. ‘We still anticipate that the product will not be in full production until the last quarter of 2008, but took over 60 good quality sales leads for GravureCam during drupa. That should provide with a solid start to our sales activity.’
