UK converter opens in-mold facility
UK converter Systems Labelling has launched its in-mold labeling facility in Runcorn, North West England. The specialist label printer has a long history of supplying self-adhesive labels to a broad range of sectors and is entering the IML market with a production team specifically recruited for the task. High quality pre-cut labels supplied individually stacked or on a reel are a cost effective way of decorating containers and lids with high quality and vibrant graphics. The application process involves injection molding the label into the products packaging.
Sales director Tony Exford commented: ‘This exciting development enhances our product offering and will provide further options for our customers in addition to attracting new business from many sectors. Technology continues to advance in the label industry and we are committed to leading the market through investing in innovative equipment and highly skilled personnel. We have already secured some lucrative business for this new label type, and with more to follow we are extremely excited by the opportunities this will provide our organization.’
