UK converter rebrands operation

After a careful rebranding process Easedale Labels, Scanvaegt Labels and Icon Labels are to be brought under one name - Reflex Labels Limited. Managing director, Ian Kendall commented:
 ‘Effectively this is a tidying-up exercise, the aim being to reduce costs, consolidate the business, and improve its representation.’
The sites will now be named Reflex Labels Leeds, Reflex Labels Leicester, and Reflex Labels Mansfield. A fourth division which is named Reflex Systems will also operate from Mansfield and provide labeling equipment and technology solutions. The Icon brand will however be retained.
 Each site has a different specialism; the unique business site in Leicester is dedicated to the efficient manufacture of plain labels and tray cards. The Leeds based site specialises in labelling for food and outsourced companies. Finally, the Mansfield site houses a centre of excellence for tags, tickets, and for cold and hot foil blocking.
Since being acquired 18 months previously the Leeds site has doubled its turnover and output whilst retaining the same number of staff. Most of Reflex Labels’ growth comes from trade companies and resellers such as major outsourcing companies and print procurement businesses.
