Visutech to distribute Michelman's DigiPrime in Scandinavia

Michelman's full line of DigiPrime digital primers for use with HP Indigo inks will now be available in Scandinavia through Visutech, following the appointment of the company as its distributor. Visutech has been the Scandinavian distributor of HP Indigo presses since 1994, and specializes in equipment for the digital and display markets.

Water-based DigiPrime makes digital printing possible and cost effective on a wide variety of paper and film substrates, according to a statement. Its use results in ‘excellent ink adhesion, improved rub resistance’, and is recommended by Hewlett-Packard.

Emerging uses for DigiPrime include shrink sleeves, labels, and flexible packaging such as cellulose film, polyolefin films and metallized papers used solely or in combination, for food and non-food products.

Visutech Digital AB was established in 1988 and is based in Gteborg, Sweden. The company is a supplier of Print on Demand solutions in the graphics market and has been a HP Indigo distributor since the presses were introduced in 1994. Visutech operates primarily in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark and Finland.
