Water Ink introduces UV Prime ImageCoat

Water Ink Technologies has introduced UV Curable Prime ImageCoat, a new UV coating, that is receptive to many forms of marking, imaging, printing and decorating, including hot foil stamping and thermal transfer.

The company said in statement: ‘Prime ImageCoat is ideal for applying bar codes, sequential numbering, security features, small lot identification, or other applications where variable information is required. The finish is high gloss and compatible water-based and UV inks. It also has good resistance to household cleaners and petroleum-based products.’

Prime ImageCoat is part Water Ink Technologies’ PharmaFlex line of safer, low odor UV inks and coatings.
