Western Shield Label, a label converter based in the Los Angeles area, has leased an additional 10,000 square feet of space attached to its existing headquarters in the industrial center of Rancho Dominguez, California. With the additional space, Western Shield now controls a total of 27,000 square feet.

Western Shield has leased this adjacent facility to accommodate growth. In the near-term this space will house an expanded graphics department and additional material handling to improve workflow, and ultimately it will house additional production capacity.

‘I am very excited about this investment’, said Frank Connelly, CEO of Western Shield. ‘The additional 10,000 square feet gives us the physical space to grow more aggressively over the next 5-7 years, and since we’ve done a good deal of hiring over the past three years, we had an immediate need for some additional office space. With this addition, we continue our commitment to investing in our employees and technology in order to serve our existing customers and to pursue new business.’

Since 1970, Western Shield Label Company has been providing custom printed labels and packaging for manufacturers, distributors and brokers in Southern California and throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada.
