Successful start for new Japanese Troika dealer

Troika Systems, a UK company supplying print-based quality control products, has announced details of a new Japanese dealer for its flexo and gravure cameras.
Four-year-old Cross-Link Pacific has taken on the role of Japanese dealer for the Troika products, and has made an immediate impact with an order for five Plate-II-Print flexo evaluation tools. The dealer exhibited, with support from Troika, at the recent Japanese Flexographic Trade Association show in Tokyo, where the UK-built products received an enthusiastic welcome.
Commenting on the new relationship, Masayauki Konai, managing director of Cross-Link Pacific, said: ‘We are excited that we can add the Troika products to our portfolio. This is a very good solution for quality management in the flexo converting industry.’
Phil Hall, managing director of Troika Systems, added: ‘The Japanese print market is very quality conscious, and flexo printers are now asking for the tools to help further improve the quality and consistency of the product that they produce. This can only be good for Troika and our new Japanese partner company, Cross-Link Pacific Inc.’
Whilst in Japan, Cross-Link Pacific took the opportunity to introduce Hall to a number of flexographic-based businesses. On a visit to Sumita, a plate production trade house, the customer could immediately see the advantages of the Plate-II-Print device, an inexpensive tool for flexographic users to check both plate quality and print quality, and placed an order for three units. The three machines will be used in the company’s plate production area; the press; and one will also be used by the sales team.
Cross-Link Pacific handles a variety of associated product within the Japanese market, including anilox cylinders from Harper Corporation, adhesive tapes from Lohmann GmbH & Co KG, proofing materials from DuPont, film materials from PCI, printing sleeves from Xymid LLC, and doctor blades from Swedev AB.
