Amtech opens Bengaluru innovation hub

Packaging ERP specialist establishes Indian center for AI, cloud and product development.

Amtech Software has opened a technology and innovation hub in Bengaluru, India, establishing a multi-functional center for engineering, product development, customer operations and revenue operations as part of its long-term global growth strategy.

Backed by Vista Equity Partners and serving more than 1,250 manufacturing plants worldwide, Amtech plans rapid team growth at the Bengaluru hub over the next year, with the site intended to evolve into a strategic global center within two to three years. Teams based there will take on increasing ownership of global initiatives across the company's flagship platforms EnCore, Label Traxx and Axiom, working on cloud-ready, API-driven architecture, AI-augmented product features, advanced manufacturing analytics and MES and CRM capabilities.

The hub will serve the packaging and labels industry across corrugated, folding carton and label manufacturing in North America, Europe and Latin America.

'As we expand our presence in India, we are building more than teams,' said Chuck Schneider, CEO of Amtech Software. 'We are building a culture that consistently shows up to give our customers what they need every day.'

'At Amtech India, our engineers own products, drive roadmaps and make decisions that impact customers globally,' added Vinod Kumar, chief people and culture officer and managing director India at Amtech Software.
