Xeikon announces open houses

In advance of Labelexpo Europe 2007, Xeikon has organized a series of open houses together with its partners, Artwork Systems, Raflatac, Deixis, GM, Time Harvest and Gerhardt. The open houses are to be held in Belgium (June 6), Denmark (June 12) the UK (June 20) and Austria (June 27).

The open houses will offer a live demonstration of the Xeikon 330, the 5-color digital printing press, with an in-line finishing unit. There will also be tabletop stands of business tools as well as workflow solutions: the Xeikon X-800 digital front-end; the Artwork Systems workflow solution; the Deixis web application and the Time Harvest Digiquote.

Filip Weymans, business development manager, labels and packaging at Punch Graphix said: ‘The increasing demands of today’s market leave too many questions unanswered. By opening our doors in a number of countries across Europe, we want to unveil the hidden pieces of the puzzle to label printers in their proximity and in their own language. Moreover, the partners we have invited to participate in the open houses bring added value and the benefits of a digital printing workflow to light. We intend to make the open houses as accessible and flexible as our own digital printing presses. There is no fixed program or entry fee, and everyone is welcome to pop in and take a peak.’
