York Label acquires a key quality assured label facility

York Label, a manufacturer of pressure sensitive labels with locations in El Dorado Hills, California, Omaha, Nebraska and York, Pennsylvania, has announced that it has acquired the Asheville division of Quality Assured Label (QAL). York Label was formed by Wind Point Partners, a private equity investment firm, in partnership with CEO Rich Egan, in March 2006. 

The Asheville, North Carolina division of QAL boasts a wide array of patented and innovative production capabilities, and is a high-quality manufacturer or brand identity labels for the personal care and household goods markets. The division produces a variety of premium, pressure sensitive label products utilizing state-of-the-art multicolor presses.

York Label CEO Rich Egan commented, ‘With the purchase if this particular Quality Assured Label facility, York continues to make great strides towards the goal of gaining geographic production coverage across the country.
