UPM Raflatac unveils digital film for chemical labeling

UPM Raflatac has introduced PolyprintIL – an opaque matt-white PE film for digital product and information labeling in industrial chemical applications. Optimized for HP Indigo WS2000 to WS6000 series digital printing presses, Polyprint IL is suited to printing short runs, individually coded labels and sequential numbering – reportedly eliminating the need for thermal transfer printing.

Good opacity and chemical resistance make it suited to industrial chemical end-uses, and excellent stiffness assists in label conversion and application, says the company. Polyprint IL is supplied with the universal RP 37 adhesive for standard applications and RP 77 for rugged performance on HDPE drums and other rough surfaces, in and out doors.
