Rosemont, Chicago. The roll call of exhibitors signing up to be showcased at Labelexpo Americas 2002 now stands at 400, among them are 45 who will be showing for the first time. Labelexpo Americas 2002 takes place on September 10-12 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Chicago, highlighting the latest in converting technology across up to 200,000 sq ft. There will be important product launches at the show. Mark Andy has confirmed it will show its digital/conventional hybrid press incorporating a 6-color digital inkjet unit built into a 2200 press body, while Nilpeter launches its made-in-the-USA FB flexo press line. This will also be the first time converters will be able to get their hands on a PCMC In-line Webtron press, now being manufactured in Green Bay with significant enhancements to its web control systems and other key specs.

A major feature of Labelexpo Americas 2002 is the conference program. This incorporates 28 individual conference sessions. Presentations include, ‘What’s Driving the Changes in Product Decorating’, ‘Narrow Web Opportunities Beyond Pressure Sensitive’, ‘Profit Planning’ and ‘Value Added Applications - Enhancing the Value of Labels’.
