First PrintCity Value Added Packaging presentation in Germany

At the recent manroland PraxisDialog 37 event in Offenbach, the first PrintCity Alliance German market presentation of the new VAPack Value Added Packaging creative sample boxes portfolio was made by Rainer Kuhn, PrintCity managing director.

The new PrintCity VAPack project focuses on the needs of brand owners and designers, opening discussions on the latest opportunities and benefits in using value added packaging techniques. The VAPack multi-company shared knowledge project emphasizes the many benefits of value added packaging techniques for consumer attraction, product differentiation and brand development.

The PrintCity VAPack project involves manroland, Merck, M-real, Kurz, Sun Chemical, UPM and Weilburger Graphics, plus alliance partner Bobst and technology partners Marbach, Reproflex and UpCode.

This is a broad project leading up to drupa 2012. Future modules will include new functions and the usage of, and linkage to, electronic media.
