Flexo partners unite for Labelexpo showcase

Along with Dirty Water Distillery and Clemson’s Sonoco Institute of Packaging, the partners have produced a unique bottle label featuring 5-color modified process printing, metallic ink, custom die lines and high quality print.

The label has been produced utilizing UV Flexo L39-5 inks from Siegwerk, TruPoint Orange doctor blades from Flexo Concepts, a Konsberg digital cutter from Esko, 1200-line screen aniloxes from Harper, Digital Rave printing plates from MacDermid exposed on Esko’s new Crystal XPS System, and Vanish label stock from UPM Raflatac. The label was printed at the Sonoco Institute of Packaging on an Omet Varyflex 530 press.

Dirty Water Distillery provided bottles of its honey liqueur for the project. Each supplier will offer tastings of this exclusive Bee Sting honey liqueur on their stands at Labelexpo Europe 2017, while showcasing the label.
