Labelexpo Europe- Event Preview Webinar

 

On September 10th, Andy Thomas-Emans, editor of Labels and Labeling, held a 30-minute webinar to discuss important technology trends that will be on show at Labelexpo Europe 2013.

This included:

  • Conventional press technology, with new offset and UV flexo processes receiving their European and in some cases world debut
  • Productivity enhancements including new fast changeover die systems, in-line spectral color measurements and MIS integration
  • LED-UV curing is seen for the first time on full speed UV flexo press lines from Mark Andy and Gallus
  • Digital, which will be a major source of new developments at Labelexpo Europe 2013, with both Xeikon and HP showing completely new technologies
  • Inkjet moving further into the mainstream with wider press widths, extended gamut inks and more laser die-cutting options
  • Innovations in materials including revolutionary linerless solutions, recycling-friendly adhesives and thinner substrates
