Great Lakes invests in Mark Andy DS-IQR retrofit for P5 flexo press

Comstock Park, Michigan-based Great Lakes Label (GLL) is investing in infrastructure and technology to diversify its portfolio offerings and boost production capability.

It has installed the 17-inch 8-color Mark Andy Pro Series printing press and the Mark Andy DS-IQR retrofit for its P5 Mark Andy flexographic press. In addition, it purchased Karlville shrink film finishing equipment and retrofitted two p-series presses with chill rolls.

GLL is also expanding its facilities with the addition of a 30,000sqf building. This expansion will accommodate the rising demand for its services while ensuring space for future growth and innovation.
