Cyngient, a full-service, technology-driven provider of inks, coatings and adhesives for label and packaging converters, has appointed Jake Chaney vice president of sales.

Chaney brings to Cyngient diverse experience, not only sales expertise, but also a background in product and technology development within the printing and curing industries. Prior to joining the company, he held sales management positions at both H.B. Fuller and Phoseon Technology. Most recently, he was senior business development manager at Korpack. Chaney holds a master’s degree, MBA-Project Management, from Benedictine University.

Chaney joins the Cyngient in a time when the company is experiencing rapid growth. For this new role, his focus is on sales strategy and ensuring sales efficiency, which will benefit the growing company’s sales force as well as new and existing clients.

‘As Cyngient continues on its strong growth trajectory, now is the time to strengthen our foundation and expand our reach in order to ensure customer service excellence,’ Chaney said. ‘To that end, I’m looking forward to providing my background, resources and tools for our sales team and office to deliver to our clients the best experience possible, backed by our high-quality products.

‘Cyngient is built to be adaptive – a key attribute for the markets we serve, which are continuously shifting and evolving. You can’t have one – or force one product that fits all. Here at Cyngient we understand the need to foster ‘value partnerships.’ We don’t want to just sell – we want to learn what our clients’ unique challenges are and solve them – whether it’s adding value or improving quality, efficiency and speed-to-market development.

‘Our clients realize quickly our capabilities and embrace our diagnostic solution process. No challenge is overlooked, and we continue to expand our partnerships.’

Andrew Wasserman, managing partner at Cyngient, added: ‘People are our biggest asset. That, said, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Jake Chaney to vice president of sales. Jake brings to us a wealth of knowledge in new age technology, with a diverse background in LED advancements, adhesives and a successful track record of management success. Cyngient continues to invest in industry leaders – without these assets, we wouldn’t be successful.’

Last year, Cyngient formed a strategic alliance with Imageworx, a pre-press services company, to offer label and packaging printing converters an all-encompassing resource for their workflow and supply chain needs.
