The ink manufacturing industry has stringent guidelines, protocols and quality control certifications in place to ensure that the inks and coatings which arrive at the converter are fit for purpose. 

From the time the inks arrive at the converter to when the printed labels are dispatched, it is the converter’s responsibility to ensure those labels are fit for purpose for their intended end use. This has two main aspects:
