Visitors will be able to see previews of several new technologies to be launched at this year’s edition of drupa, including the latest improvements to the print quality, production acceleration and reduction of cost, energy and waste, while increasing throughput and competitiveness.

Live demonstrations featuring the company’s machine and ancillary systems, using several materials, equipment and automation technologies will show the value of flexo, not only for packaging and graphics, but a host of converting applications as well.

‘We have registered a great interest to participate and exhibit at our Tresu Flexo Tech Event and we hope to see many customers and business partners at our event in March, said Ronni Nielsen, VP of the Solutions Division at Tresu. ‘Leveraging the specific expertise of our partners, the event provides a unique opportunity for our customers to consider and discuss with us their future plans and development needs at a single event.’

Tresu’s ancillary and machine systems are well-established in the packaging, label, paperboard and commercial printing markets. However, the company has a growing base of custom-designed flexo units’ installations in non-packaging sectors, providing an integrated print and coating operation within existing converting lines and integration with offset, gravure or digital printing operations for converting or coating paper, board, films and textiles.

Henrik Kristensen, VP of the Ancillary Division at Tresu added: ‘Based on a strong track record and proven portfolio Tresu now takes the next step and introduces the next generation of chamber blade technology and ink and supply systems in the coming months. We look forward to the further dialogue on this exciting new ancillary printing equipment, adding new opportunities to customers.’

The event, organized with the participation of the Danish Flexographic Association will be held in Tresu’s new headquarters and production facility, in Kolding, Denmark on 31 March 2020. Participating partners include B&R Automation, BST International, BW Papersystems, D&W Flexomanufaktur, Flexo Wash, Festo, FlexoConcept, GEW, Halle Karton, IMS Technologies, Inometa, IST METZ, JM Heaford, Kodak, Madern, Martin Automatic, Mtorres, PrimeBlade, Scanteco, Siegwerk, Siemens, Spilker and Vetaphone.
