Hexagon Initiation label design blends science and art

Wine label designed as collaboration between Serbia-based design agency Dusan Sol and Malaysia-based visual studio Amit Chippa CGI Sdn. Bhd

Hexagon Initiation is an estate winery and community of six ‘truth seekers’ who delve deep into mystic and occult practices. Their alchemical approach comprises both spiritual and scientific principles to create a perfect handcrafted wine. With a focus on winery exploration, they believe in embracing the power of numbers and symbols to unlock hidden truths and unique taste buds.

Label designs were done by Serbia-based design company Dusan Sol. Bottle concept designs and CGI visuals were done by Amit Chippa - CGI artist.

The goal was to create six batches of designs for red wines. For each member of the Hexagon crew, the label design shows uniqueness and individuality in a witty and abstract way. Gold slogans below the names of the wines are describing a keyword for each Hexagon member.

Premium Amphora Bottle Batch No. 7 features a stunning alchemical representation of the Hexagon Crew, which showcases a clever combination of science and art.

The logo mark is a different kind of hexagon symbol that embodies the principles of alchemy, blending both masculine and feminine energies for balance and harmony. It is also a symbol of ancient art of medicine and the power of transformation.

The bottle design is inspired by the amphora vessels that changed the way wine was transported from one country to another in the Bronze Age. Although the traditional amphoras are made with clay, this modern amphora bottle celebrates the old times with a new-age material. The idea was to design a bottle that not only holds a larger amount of wine but also be a centerpiece on the table.

The label is printed on a classic laid paper to get rough texture and matte finish with embossing on certain areas. Gold foiling is used as a special finish. Tinted glass is used for the bottles and the tops are hand dipped in black and gold wax for the natural drips on the sides.
