Van Oordt opts for second DG press Auxo hybrid offset machine

Dutch manufacturer expands its capacity and production flexibility.

Van Oordt, one of the leading Dutch manufacturers specializing in small-portion packaging, has invested in the second DG-Auxo hybrid web offset press from the DG press portfolio to enhance its capacity and production flexibility.

The DG-Auxo, renowned for its excellence in short production runs, perfectly aligns with Van Oordt’s ethos of ‘always bringing a little extra’.

With packaging orders varying from small to very large, the press’s sleeve technology on web offset presses provides significant benefits, minimizing press downtime through fast changeover times.

DG-Auxo is a hybrid web offset printing platform designed to produce film, foil, paper, board-based packaging and label print applications. In its third generation, it features successful technologies from previous models, such as the VSOP, and combines them with further improvements in the design.

Flexibility, versatility, and sustainability are key factors of the press. It is available in several web widths, which suit various market demands. It is suitable for short- to medium-print jobs with the highest print quality while being the most sustainable choice in the industry.

‘We are proud to sell our second DG-Auxo to Van Oordt,’ stated Remko Koolbergen, director of DG press.

‘The DG-Auxo gives us the opportunity to be even more flexible than we already are,’ added Sidney Moll, CEO of Portion Pack Europe at Van Oordt.

Over the coming months, the DG press team will build this machine, which will play a significant role in Van Oordt’s production process.
