IIJ donates to homeless charity

UK-based digital printing specialist IIJ has provided donations to a local homeless charity in the UK, donating warm clothing, personal care essentials, thermal bags and food items during the recent cold weather in the country.

Responding to an outreach request from a local charity called Sunday Supper and mindful of those less fortunate, IIJ took a long shopping list to a nearby supermarket and three shopping trollies later had purchased a volume of donations to hand over to the charity.

Sunday Suppers is a community founded group based in Mildenhall with the aim to help the homeless in Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding areas. It provides hot food, hot drinks, clothing, toiletries and sleeping bags. The charity also provides hot meals to the homeless on a Sunday and is out and about on a Monday and Thursday evening in Bury St Edmunds providing the necessities to those sleeping rough.

IIJ stated: ‘Social responsibility is important to us and we are very proud to support to a local charity who deliver an incredible service to those in need.’
