Konica Minolta flags off CSR initiative Neev

Under the project, the company will distribute mid-day meals to school students in Varanasi, India.

Konica Minolta Business Solutions India has partnered with Akshaya Patra Foundation, an India-based non-profit, for mid-day meals distribution to 1,800 students in Varanasi, India, under its new CSR initiative, project Neev. The company has donated two new EVs, which will cover 160 km per day.

Konica Minolta’s representatives also visited a nearby school to witness the food distribution process. The sponsorship will provide mid-day meals for these students for an entire year, ensuring they receive the necessary energy and nutrition to thrive in their academic pursuits.

The initiative not only aligns with Konica Minolta's commitment to reducing carbon emissions and creating a sustainable future, but also underscores the company's belief in the importance of education and its dedication to empowering young minds.

Commenting on the initiative, Katsuhisa Asari, managing director, Konica Minolta Business Solutions, India said: ‘We are incredibly proud to partner with the Akshaya Patra Foundation on this meaningful initiative.
